Tour Description

What is the best way to see Hawaii’s number one attraction? A private Pearl Harbor tour transfer. Suppose you don’t want to spend much time at Pearl Harbor. If you want a quick, hassle-free way to go to Pearl Harbor in a comfortable, clean, air-conditioned vehicle then this is the tour for you. Our Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial, and visitor center of Pearl Harbor is a quick and convenient tour option for you. You will be picked up privately and taken directly to Pearl Harbor. Your vacation time is important to you. You do not need to get up early in the morning (5:30 am) and wait in line behind thousands of other people to see if you can get a Arizona Memorial ticket. We have reserved a ticket to Arizona Memorial for you, which is included for you in this tour (please read our disclaimer about the USS Arizona Memorial ticket). Therefore, you do not need to worry about an Arizona Memorial ticket. This Pearl Harbor tour is an excellent short tour (about 4.4 ~ 5 hours) which will leave you with plenty of time for the rest of your day. After Pearl Harbor tour, you will be privately taken directly back to your hotel. This is one of our best Private Pearl Harbor Tours and operates only from Waikiki Beach hotels.

This memorable tour begins at the Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center, where you will go back to December 7th, 1941. Through the Pearl Harbor museums, “Road to War” and “Attack,” and a 23-minute film, you are provided with the story of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the day that pulled the United States into the largest conflict in human history. Then you will board a shuttle boat to the Arizona Memorial. As the resting place for 1,177 American Sailors and Marines, the USS Arizona Memorial is a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by Americans who fought in WWII.

Here Are Some Points Of Interest That You Will See On Your Tour

Tree of Life

The tree of life is a sculpture in Pearl Harbor located at the Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center just outside of the “Road to War exhibit gallery.” The sculpture was designed by Alfred Preis, who also designed the USS Arizona Memorial. The sculpture is meant to be a symbol of renewal and inspire contemplation. While you are at Pearl Harbor, be sure to check out this unique work of art. Don’t forget to also visit the exhibit galleries “Road to War” and “Attack.”

Arizona Memorial

When you arrive at the Arizona Memorial, walk to the ramp from the boat dock and enter the Arizona Memorial. There is a limited time on the Memorial, and people will move from the entrance to the far end of the Memorial. On the way to the far side, take some time to look at the battleship USS Missouri, which is docked near the Arizona Memorial. Some portions of the ship are still visible above water. These are parts of the superstructure, the remains of the number 2 turret, and the number 3 turret barbette. You may notice an orange buoy to either side of the Memorial.

2

Arizona Memorial Boat Ride

Once you leave the theater, you will be directed down a ramp to get to the boat dock. The only way to get to the Arizona Memorial is by boat. Two shuttle boats rotate between the Visitor’s Center and Arizona Memorial every 15 minutes. While the National Park Service manages the Visitor’s Center and Arizona Memorial, the US Navy operates the shuttle boats. Every day, the Navy supplies the boats and sailors that shuttle the visitors to and from the USS Arizona Memorial.

1-8

Submarine Museum

Across from the submarine, USS Bowfin, is the Submarine Museum. This museum is dedicated to educating people on the history of submarine warfare throughout history. The museum houses over 1,000 artifacts from submarines that served in the US Navy. Including battle flags and ship’s bells. The museum’s primary focus is to educate guests on the role that US Navy submarines played in WWII. Also housed within the museum are more recent artifacts, such as a disassembled submarine-launched ballistic missile.
