Tour Description
Visit the number one historical attraction in Hawaii as part of a small group. Unlike other large bus tours of 25-60 people, this Pearl Harbor tour is a small group of only eleven people in a convenient, new model van that takes you directly to Pearl Harbor. You do not need to go early in the morning (5:30 am) and wait in line behind thousands of other people to see if you can get a Arizona Memorial Ticket. We have reserved a ticket for the Arizona Memorial for you. This ticket is included for you in this tour (please read our disclaimer about the USS Arizona Memorial ticket). Therefore, you do not need to worry about a Pearl Harbor ticket. This is a full-day tour (about 7-8 hours). This full-day Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial, Missouri Battleship, USS Bowfin Submarine, and a short Honolulu city tour operates only from Waikiki Beach hotels. Those staying on any other part of the Island will need to come to the Waikiki Beach area for pick up.
This exciting Pearl Harbor Tour includes three important attractions at Pearl Harbor National Memorial. This tour takes you to Pearl Harbor Visitor Center in the Heart of Honolulu. Pearl Harbor is the most visited tourist destination in Hawaii and is the resting place for many American heroes. This tour is the perfect choice for those who want to spend the day visiting three of the major Pearl Harbor museums. In addition to the USS Arizona Memorial, this tour includes two more museums. Visit the legendary battleship Missouri, “the Mighty MO”, a battleship that was the location of the final Japanese surrender at the end of WWII. You will also get to see the submarine USS Bowfin, the “Pearl Harbor Avenger,” a highly decorated submarine that saw action during WWII sinking 43 enemy vessels. Have a stroll through the Bowfin Submarine Museum and learn about the history of U.S. Navy submarine warfare during WWII. On the way back to Waikiki, you will be taken on a short drive-through tour of Downtown Honolulu. You get to see the famous golden statue of Hawaii’s legendary ruler, King Kamehameha the Great, who united the Hawaiian Islands. View the famous Iolani Palace, as seen in Hawaii Five-O, the only Royal Palace on American soil. See the historic Washington Place, the historic home of Hawaii’s Governors. View the unique architecture of the Hawaii State Capitol building. We will also take you on a drive-through of Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery, the final resting place of many U.S. service members from WWI to the present.

Here are some points of Interest that you will see on your tour:
Tree of Life
The tree of life is a sculpture in Pearl Harbor located at the Pearl Harbor Visitor’s Center just outside of the “Road to War exhibit gallery.” The sculpture was designed by Alfred Preis, who also designed the USS Arizona Memorial. The sculpture is meant to be a symbol of renewal and inspire contemplation. While you are at Pearl Harbor, be sure to check out this unique work of art. Don’t forget to also visit the exhibit galleries “Road to War” and “Attack.”
USS Missouri
The USS Missouri (BB-63) was commissioned on June 11, 1944. This Iowa-Class fast battleship displaced over 58,000 tons and was 887 feet long. Armed with nine massive Mk7 16-inch 50 caliber naval rifles, armor between 12 and 19 inches thick, and a speed over 32 knots, the USS Missouri and her sisters were among the most powerful battleships ever constructed. She served in the latter part of WWII and was the site of the surrender ceremony in Tokyo Bay at the end of the war. She was reactivated and modernized in the 1980s and outfitted with modern sensors and weapons.
USS Oklahoma
The USS Oklahoma (B-37) was a Nevada-Class battleship commissioned on May 2, 1916. She was at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. During the Japanese attack, she received up to 8 torpedo hits. She capsized, almost rolling completely over. This trapped many of her crew who were below decks underwater. A desperate rescue operation was launched to save as many of her crew as possible. In all, 429 officers and enlisted men out of a crew of 1,398 died in the attack. Her losses comprise the second-largest loss of life in the attack after 1,177 were killed when the USS Arizona exploded.
Submarine Museum
Across from the submarine, USS Bowfin, is the Submarine Museum. This museum is dedicated to educating people on the history of submarine warfare throughout history. The museum houses over 1,000 artifacts from submarines that served in the US Navy. Including battle flags and ship’s bells. The museum’s primary focus is to educate guests on the role that US Navy submarines played in WWII. Also housed within the museum are more recent artifacts, such as a disassembled submarine-launched ballistic missile.
